Exports from China are divided into three channels: West, Middle, and East, which go abroad through Alashankou or Horgos in Xinjiang, Erenhot in Inner Mongolia, and Manzhouli in Heilongjiang.
From the perspective of international channels, there are now two lines, one is via the Russian-Siberian Railway, corresponding to the two exits of Erenhot and Manzhouli, and the other is via Kazakhstan, corresponding to the Alashan Pass. Both lines will reach Europe via Russia.
According to the plan, there will be routes via Iran and Turkey in the long term, covering more Central Asian and Southern European countries.
